In April 2017, Taipei Veterans General Hospital (TVGH, 臺北榮民總醫院) began to cooperate with International Cooperation and Development Fund (TaiwanICDF, 國際合作發展基金會) through a three-year Capacity Building Project for the Prevention and Control of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) in St. Kitts and Nevis. During the project execution, TVGH had held a series of training courses for the medical personnel from St. Kitts and Nevis, and sent its medical professionals there to conduct on-site evaluation, supervise the effect of training, and give related lectures, with the aim of improving the ally’s healthcare capacity and enhancing interaction between the two sides.
