Since 2013, Taipei Veterans General Hospital (TVGH, 臺北榮民總醫院) has provided medical assistance to the Republic of Nauru under the government’s medical diplomacy. It has worked with a technical team of International Cooperation and Development Fund (TaiwanICDF, 國際合作發展基金會) stationed there to promote public awareness of healthcare, chronic disease prevention and control, outpatient diabetes care, etc., thereby enhancing Nauruan public health quality and self-health management.
