TVGH's neurology center was the first to carry out an epilepsy surgery, followed by National Taiwan University Hospital (臺大醫院) and Chang Gung Memorial Hospital (長庚醫院). These surgical operations greatly improved the standard for epilepsy treatment in Taiwan.
