In January 2010, TVGH held a preparatory meeting for aiding post-earthquake Haiti by Taipei, Taichung and Kaohsiung Veterans Hospitals. Three doctors of internal medicine, 1 doctor of pediatrics, and six nurses were willing to join mid to long-term post-disaster medical aid and reconstruction work.
On February 5, nurse Chang Ching-hsiang (張靜湘) of the Nursing Dept. joined a mobile aid group in Haiti on behalf of TVGH, as hosted by the International Cooperation and Development Fund.
