In October 2016, minister of Agriculture and Health of the Federation of Saint Christopher and Nevis, Mr. Eugene Hamilton, visited TVGH as accompanied by the country's ambassador in Taiwan Ms. Jasmine Huggins. They were received by our superintendent Chang Te-ming (張德明). Saint Christopher and Nevis and Taiwan have enjoyed lasting friendship, and the Saint Christopher and Nevis government sees the prevention and control of chronic diseases as a key issue in public health and medical care. The visit shed light on a cooperation plan for constructing the country's scheme for preventing and controlling chronic kidney diseases, aside from deepening exchange with TVGH.
