The 22nd meeting of the Standing Committee for Asia and the Pacific, World Veterans Federation was held in September 2017 in Taipei. WVF President Den-Viggo Bergtun from Norway led a number of members to visit TVGH, including those from USA, Turkey, Norway, Denmark, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Jordan, Vietnam, France, Cameroon, and Taiwan. TVGH's superintendent Chang Te-ming (張德明) personally welcomed the guests and hoped that through exchange of experiences the hospital may improve veteran services and care.
